Climbing a really big mountain…

May 4, 2009

of responsibilities is Monday’s task. Going to do it one step at a time. My legs are not long enough for any other way.

I have all ready been up since before the clock was even willing to strike 5:00. The bed was warm, the pillow softer, and stumbling out to hit the ground running was in no ways possible.

So I crawled. Thank God, He lets you crawl when you can’t walk. And He even made sure no cat throw up was waiting in my crawling path. Sweet mercies, that is.

Lord, make me faithful today to do all that You have called me to do. As I depend, make me humble. As I progress, make me grateful. As I trust, make me obedient.

The faithful servant marches on. Lord, make me faithful.

And with the long-haired beastie that rules our house, it’s especially a
      mercy…

    I love that. Thanks.

Hope that a soft t-shirt and baggy boxers met you at the end of that day 😉
