“I never think of the future…

August 5, 2008

It comes soon enough.” This is my Einstein quote of the day on my Google homepage and also where most of my thoughts are generally residing.

This is not a post where a mommy waxes on about how quickly her children are growing and before she can grasp every moment, she realizes that they will be gone, and she will be alone.

No, not that.

This is not a post where a homemaker deconstructs the folly of this quote, citing all the reasons to be planned an prepared for your future in menus, organization, homeschooling, and vacation planning, or else.

No, not that.

This is simply a quote I read today and thought, “Yes, Einstein, that pretty much sums up my thoughts for today.”

Only that.

Hmm, that is interesting to ponder. “That comes soon enough”

I like your quote better than our family daily reading for today! In II Kings 6:24 ff we learned that the people were so hungry they were scooping up bird dropping and eating them … along with a side of donkey head. Definitely like your quote better – real food for thought!

And who better to know than a wife and mom. Thanks for the comments today…I’m enjoying your blog very much. So glad my SIL started blogging or I might never have entered this community.
