I went into 2nd and 3rd son’s room to wake them up yesterday, and this is the conversation that followed.
Me: Good Morning, Guys!
2nd: Hey Mom! I had this really weird dream last night about an elephant riding on a motorcycle.
Me: Wow. That must have been a really big motorcycle.
2nd: No. It was just a regular motorcycle.
3rd: (From the depths of sleep, or so we thought.) Well, it must have been a really small elephant then.
That would be a normal run of the mill circus performance and not a truly ‘weird’ dream if the elephant was really small – 3rd must not have been awake enough to really exercise his imagination! It must be the time for weird dreams because they are going on regularly in our family!
